A prancing horse I rode
由我的影子长成的小白马
The little white horse grew out from my shadow
追赶着自己的影子？越走越远
Chasing my own shadow and running far away
注：10月11日，我因与一家”国字”头公司商谈肯尼亚项目之事，滞留北京。其间与大卫、刀等人相约在“三个贵州人”请西川、王家新、潘洗尘、白连春、安琪、宋琳、叶匡正、老巢、谭伍昌、周瑟瑟、刘不伟、望旺旺等在京诗人及向利、王箐、李新辉等画家小聚。后接大卫电话，说连春可能患感冒身体不适不能过来了，随委托大卫单独前往白连春处带去我的问候并与连春小聚，我则按原定计划留守“三个贵州人”与已约诗人、画家痛饮。哪知北京一别，连春已病重返回成都，近日有关“苦瓜诗人白连春”病重的消息不胫而走，诗坛好友更是心焦关注，无奈眼下我远赴非洲的行程已定，为表达对连春康复的祈福，特赋诗一首，————杨春生。
Note：on October 11th，I stayed in Beijing because of business concerning the Kenya project with one national company.During this time，I and Da Wei，Dao organized a reunion with some poets including Xichun，Wang Jiaxin，Pan Xichen，Bai Lianchun，An Qi，Song Lin，Ye Kuangzheng，Lao Cao，Tan Wuchang，Zhou Sese，Liu Buwei，Wang Wangwang and some painters like Xiang Li，Wang Ji，Li Xinhui and other friends in a restaurant named “Three Guizhouers”.I got a call from Da Wei，who told me Bai Lianchun cannot make it because of physical discomfort.I had to stay in the restaurant with other friends.Da Wei paid a visit to Lian Chun’s home，offering him my best wishes.I did not expect Lian Chun is so sick that he had returned to his homeland Chengdu since then.Recently，the news about the illness of the “Bitter poet”is everywhere；I am very concerned about him.However，because I had already set off on my trip to Africa，I wrote this poem to wish him a recovery—Yang Chunsheng

The head of the hill is huge and sexy So huge to
踮着脚尖儿看见一个模糊的轮廓
See a dim figure when you tiptoe
长发飘飘的山？庄重沉稳的山
The hill with long hair The hill with his solemn appearance
看大江东去的威猛只发生在脚下
Looking the braveness of flowing river under his feet
品游云缠绕的快感只发生在腰间
Feeling the pleasure of surrounding clouds in his waist
日坐观天八万里？山不动
Sitting here watching the running sky the hill is still
才显流水啊娜的倩影？山不回头
Seeing the wonderful shadow of flowing water the hill is motionless
才有走出大山的远行者
Only those travelers walked out of the hill
一步一亦一回头的绝歃恋情
Looking back constantly with feelings of love
男人是山？男人们的肩膀
The man is the hill the shoulder of the man
扛着一个又一个山头？一个男人
Carrying on one and another the peak of the hill One man
就是一座山岗？一群男人就筑起一道山粱
One hill All men together build the ridge
所有能称得上男人的男人们站在一起？
All the real men stand together
天就显得不那么太高？不那么险峻
Even the skies overhead are not so high nor so steep
真男人伟男人？精气神饱满的男人站在一起
The true men and the great men and the spiritual men stand together
女人就可以站在男人的肩膀上摘月亮
women can stand on the shoulder of the them to Pick the moon
孩子就可以骑在男人的脖子上摘星星
children can sit astride the neck of the men to pick the star
一人得道？鸡犬升天
One man becomes eternal even his poultry attains heaven
其实说的也就是咱大佬爷们的那点事儿
They are actually talking about we big men
茂密的头发？比女贞树编成的
The dense hair much richer than the tropical rain forest
南方热带雨林更加浓郁的
In the south forming by the Ligustrum Tree
男人的头发？娶妻盖房时
The hair of the man can be the thatch
可以做茅草？娇儿涉水前
When he builds one cottage for marriage also can be the baby basket
可以做藤条？男人的发髻高入云端
When he knits straw sandals for the children playing water
恰似大树上一枚枚熟透的果子
The bun of his hair is sky-high looking like the ripe fruits in the tree
饥寒交迫的日子摘一颗可以充饥
You can pick one to eat when you are starved in hard days
阳光普照的光景摘一颗哪怕摆在
Or you can pick one to enjoy in beautiful days
最不显眼的地方？怎么端详
At any places or any corners no matter how you look at them
也觉着怎么舒心
You will feel comfortable
有个性的男人？硬似钢钎柔若
The man with strong personality is as hard as drilling steel
流水的男人？嵯峨的五官之上
The man with soft personality and impressive facial organs
阡陌纵横的皱纹？是成熟的激情冷却以后
The wrinkles are vertical and horizontal which form ridges and peaks
形成的一道又一道？好看的峰峦？
Taking shape companying by the mature passion settled down
日渐粗硬的皮肤？是沧桑互换的过程中
The thick and stiff skin is a precious Chinese painting
蜕下的一张张？可以祖传的国画？
Developed by the tremendous changes in life
一只鶽在飞？过山风高高的举着
One hawk is flying over the hill
深秋割弃的枫叶？向过往的行人
The wind raised the maple leaves high falling in the late autumn
述说着？一个又一个红颜易逝
Telling the romantic story to the passers-by
不亦失的故事？远方传出
Another story about young beauty getting old
铿铿镪锵的僬夫砍柴之声
The sound of wood being cut is heard from afar
入了绺子就等于昄依在达摩门下
Letting your hair grow symbolizes being in the bodhidharma
山上下来的人说？那属于你的男人？
People coming down say that your man
天堂饱满地角方圆？？高高的前额？
Should have arched an brow and a round cheek In the high forehead
能驰骋一万匹马？烙腮的下巴
Ten thousand horses can race in there In the chins with sideburns
能容下一万只羊？山上下来的人
Ten thousand sheep can stay in there All the people coming down from the hill
