Eulogy to My Humble Abode, a Qing Dynasty(1644.1911) painting by Huang Yingchen, ink and color on silk, 243.3cm×158cm, in the collection of the Palace Museum, Taipei.
Huang Yingchen(1597.ca.1676), a court painter in the early Qing period, was good at painting characters, ghosts, immortal and children. Drawn in 1667, the sixth year of the Kangxi reign, this work is a neat and meticulous painting with poetic atmosphere. There is the figure of Jin Dynasty scholar Tao Yuanming and full text of Eulogy to My Humble Abode in it.
