To poet Huangke
有一种诗如水
There is a kind of poem that flows
是淌出来的
like water
心是源泉诗人的心
the heart is the source the poet’s heart
如灵泉叮咚一滴一行
as a singing spring one drop one line
一滴又一行
another drop and another line
涓涓细流汇成大河
the trickling water come together to form a river
于是诗人就在六月
and it is in June the poet
披着蓑衣立在
under a palm-bark rain cape standing
细雨霏霏的乌蓬船头
on the small boat in rain
望天望地
behold the sky behold the land
望出没于月明星稀的
behold the haunting
岸边的油纸伞
Oilpaper umbrella and red cloth shoes
和红布鞋
on the bank under the moonlight
这时诗人手中的笔
the pen held in the hand at this moment
就成了上下翻飞的桨
is a flying pulp
前后摆动的橹
a swing scull
这时诗人心潮彭湃的心
the surging heart at this moment
又上升为
has raised up like
满月的弓样的帆
a full moon bow
我知道这时的你
I know at this moment you
正携手你的爱人
are holding your lover’s hand
在诗歌的湖面泛舟
rafting on the surface of the lake of poems
我知道这时的你
I know at this moment you
正携手你的爱人
are holding your lover’s hand
在诗歌的湖心采莲
picking lotus in the center of the lake of poems
我知道这时诗歌的湖面
I know that on the lake of poems
祥云如鸟
beautiful clouds are like birds
彩霞婉若绸缎
and rosy clouds are like silks
我知道这时诗歌的水底
I know that under the water of poetry
所有的鱼都摇动着
all the fishes are swaying
诗化了的尾巴
their poetic tails
跟在你的身后
follow you
做着欢快的游
swimming cheerfully

毛毛的毛山川或河流
the hairy hair ，mountains or rivers
盖上盖子的河
covered rivers
船如没煮透的饺子
a boat like a dumpling uncooked
沉入水底
sinks into the water
毛绒绒的崇山峻岭
plush velvet hills and mountains
攀爬者扛着土枪
climbers carrying guns
土炮是重兵器
manual artillery is their heavy weapon
彼岸或此岸
on the other side or this side
彼岸有粉红的影子
on the other side pink shadows
立在窗外
stand out of the window
此岸有翠绿的影子
on this side green shadows
立在窗外
stands out of the window
鹰踏上升或下降的气流
the eagle rides the rising or declining airflow
自中原飞过来
flying over Central Plains
中原的南方
in the South of Central Plains
海很蓝
the ocean is so blue
毛毛的毛
the hairy hair
爬行的毛毛虫
crawling caterpillar
是鱼
is it fish
还是鱼夫
or fisherman

——写给郁葱的诗
A poem to Yu Cong
在你和我的后花园里
in the back garden of you and me
其实群峰之巅的高度
in fact，the height of the top peaks
就扛在你和我的肩上
is just on the shoulders of you and me
我是说我和你椰子壳一样的脑袋
I say that our coconut shell-like heads
坚硬而质有感我和你的双肩是土地
hard and with texture the land is the shoulders of you and me
脖颈多像一根参天的树杆挺拔诱人
the neck more like a towering tall stem，straight and attractive
而那枚毛发发育很好的脑袋
and the head with good hair growth
一直勇敢的站在我们的双肩之上
always stands on our shoulders bravely
静观群峰以下的另一些风景
quietly watching other scenery below all the peaks
欲穷千里此时
over thousands of miles at this moment
我的头颅和你的头颅
my head and yours
真的像椰子树和红松树相爱以后
really as the twin fruits
产下的孪生果实
of the love of the coconut tree and the red pine
高高在上的我和你的头颅
the heads of you and me high above
我说象南方的椰子
I say they like the coconut of the South
你说象北方的松果
you believe pineal of North
在你和我的后花园里
in the back garden of you and me
你说所有观注我们的目光
you said，all the eyes concerning about us
都松鼠一样翘着长长的尾吧
raise their long tails like squirrels
绕着我们的躯杆一圈一圈
wind around our bodies lap by lap
往上爬我说
climb up and I say
所有观注我们的目光
all the eyes concerning about us
都温暖的让人心里发痒
make you warm and itchy in your heart
你和我相视而笑
you and me look at each other and smile
我们笑的也很温暖
our smile is also warm
其实这时的你和我
in fact，both you and I at this moment
都信心十足的跋涉到
are confident in the journey
那片隆起的诗之群峰的顶端
to the summit of that bulge poetry mountains
伸手可以摘下
stretch out your hands and you can pick
比陕西的柿子大不了多少的夕阳
the sunset not big than Shaanxi persimmon
弯腰可以楼一抱
bend down and you can embrace
比新疆的棉花差不了多少的
thick clouds as good as Xinjiang cotton
厚厚的云朵群山之上
above all the mountains
一揽众山更何况你和我的头颅
we got a bird’s-view of them，your head and mine
一直霸道的盘据在
always stand persistently
你和我的双肩之上
on the shoulders of you and me
这是一个张口
this is a time
就是一个主义闭口
with isms spoken casually
就是一个主张的时代
here and there
是一个没有大师只有行者的时代
this is a time without masters but only travelers
我在云游中懂得了这个道理
I know this in my wondering
你在固守中懂得了这个道理
you get this in your persistence
此刻群峰之巅的高度
now the height of top peak
任凭你和我去揣摩推测去想象
allow you and I to estimate，speculate，and imagine freely
群峰之上的高度
the height of all peaks
就扛在我们的肩上兄弟啊
are carried on our shoulders my brother
我是说在你和我的后花园里
I mean in back the garden of you and me
