打电话的技巧
1·说明身份
(1)在电话上说明自己是谁时,姓名前不加Mr·/Ms·/Miss·/Mrs·等称谓,而是让对方从声音上辨别自己的性别。
(2)在说明自己是谁时,一般不用I am…或My name is…,而用This is…或省略形式来表示。如:
①This is Thomas Conine,Ms· Mao Dis secretary· 我是毛迪女士的秘书托马斯·康妮。
②Apple International· John Smith speaking· 这里是苹果国际公司。我是约翰·史密斯。
③Good morning· Sarah Green here· 上午好,我是莎拉·格林。
2·号码读法
(1)在念电话号码时,中间应有所停顿,这比一口气把所有数字都念完的效果好。如:82360152应在念完8236后,稍微停顿一下再念0152。
(2)电话号码中的数字0既可念成[u],即字母o的读音,也可念成\[ziru\],即单词zero的读音。
(3)两个相同的数字在一起时,既可分别读出这两个数字,又可以在数字的前面加double。如:63220312既可念成six-three-two-two-zero-three-one-two,也可念成six-three-double two-zero-three-one-two。
(4)三个相同的数字在一起时,既可分别读出这三个数字,又可以在数字的前面加triple。如:22209156既可念成two-two-two-zero-nine-one-five-six也可念成triple two-zero-nine-one-five-six。
(5)接电话时,可以首先报出自己的电话号码,以便对方核实。如:
Good morning· 8236-0152·上午好,这里是82360152。
(6)打电话时,可以首先核实一下对方的电话号码。如:
Hello· Is that 6322-0312,please?您好,请问您是63220312吗?
三、时间读法
日期的读法,英美之间有一定的区别,如10月2日,英国人读作the second of October或October the Second,而美国人一般读作October Second·
时刻很少用a quarter past ten,seven to six,half past four之类的表达,多数情况下直接按顺序读出小时、分钟即可。如:
10:15读作ten fifteen。
5:53读作five fiftythree。
4:30读作four thirty。
11:00读作eleven oclock。
